2-3 Finsbury Avenue public use

Imagining the next generation of public access in the City of London for British Land's Broadgate development

Working into the context of an existing consented scheme in Broadgate campus in the City of London.

Forth was tasked with exploring the potential of breaking the established formula for public access and community engagement in the Square Mile with a brief to propose ‘the next generation of public use’ in the City of London.

The ‘Open Learning Hub’ concept is both a space and a new way of working for British Land. It was central to a successful planning consent in March 2021 and launched a new social sustainability strategy at Broadgate.

Preparing people to flourish in a rapidly changing world through exceptional education, cultural and creative learning, and skills which link to the world of work.
